Back Surgery and a Pile'O'Bills

Hi, my name is Lane! This isn't easy to admit, but I need some financial help.

Back Injury Treatment

This past winter, I slipped a disc in my back. This left me essentially disabled for a couple of weeks. I have been receiving chiropractic care and am much more mobile now. But in light of my recent dental emergency, I have not been able to afford to go to the chiropractor as often as necessary, and my progress has plateaued. I struggle most with transitioning from a seated or laying down position to a standing position or vice versa. I can't run or jump; when I'm walking, my hip will give out, and I usually end up falling and hurting myself further.

UPDATE: My back is much worse now. I found a surgery that can fix it, but it costs A LOT of money.

Dental Surgery

I recently had to go to a dentist for tooth pains radiating into my head. It was, unfortunately, the worst of all the things I thought could have been wrong. I have not had health insurance since early 2020, and two years of being unable to afford essential checkups have finally come to bite me in the butt. I've just undergone my second of three dental procedures to save my teeth. I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to get my teeth looked at in the first place, and I'm very grateful for that. However, these essential procedures all together total to a little over $5000, and that's not the amount I have available.

Car Troubles

My car has been unusable since this past fall and fixing it has been slow. I finally settled most of the original issues, but since it sat all winter, unable to move, there are now parts that have rusted to the point of needing replacement. I usually wouldn't mind going for an extended period without a car, but with my back, it has become increasingly more challenging to get around without someone to drive me. Being unable to drive at this time has hindered my availability for work and made traveling from place to place unsafe.
