Dental Surgery Balance for Brodie

This little man is my sunshine! Lately it's been harder for him to eat his kibble and he just hasn't been his jolly happy self.  Earlier in the week I recieved a postcard  in the mail that Brodie was due for a visit anyway, so why not get him in to see the vet?  Brodie wants to tell you about his Dogtor appointment himself , plus I tend to rattle, so ladies & gents, heeerrrree's Brodie! ...here's a pic of me waiting for a biscuit at the bank. One of my favorite things to do is go to the bank with Mom. My name is Brodie. I'm an English Cocker Spaniel and I made it to my furever home when I was eight months old but Mom and I truly fell in love soon after I was born. Here's a  pic from 2008: I will be 12 years old in September which equates to 70 in human years. pic is  from my 10th b-day in 2018: Picked up from grooming  in 2019. So handsome! I've lived my whole life in Monroe, WA which is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Basically  a suburb of Seattle. I've grown up with lots of love. Getting salty in the snow  lol I love snow. Meeting Santa w/mama 2010. My mom's had it ruff but I've never gone hungry or without because Mom puts me first. Here's a pic of me and Mama. Giving hugs is kind of my specialty. Mama has Lupus SLE, CKD, arthritis & PTSD just to name a few. I always provide  comfort when she's down. When she hugs me back,  sometimes I swear I hear her whisper the words: "I love you so much Brodie, you're my heart." We are indeed meant to be together. Mama had been discussing dental work cleaning/extraction(s) with my Vet Clinic for the last year or so.  Mama knew I needed to get my teeth done but it was something that she couldn't  afford. In Feb, through a co-worker,  Mama got in touch with a DOGtor who was able to do extractions for a more cost-effective rate than what it would cost to go to our clinic. Since COVID19 that DOGtor has not been accepting patients. Talk about timing. So, I went in for the appointment with my regular vet a few weeks ago & Mama got some very scary news. Not only does my knee pop out now and I could go lame, the DOGtor let us know that my dental infection has gotten so bad that I run the risk of pus coming out of my eyes if I do not get my dental surgery asap!! *see below* So yea, that's the copy of the quote for the dental procedure I need. I just want to feel better too. To not have it hurt when I chew. To safely make the extractions & heal the infection so my breath doesnt smell like death. Also, so my toys won't stink from my mouth when I play with them. I'm not even able  to run after the ball,  which is my favorite. To be honest, I don't play anymore. All I do is mope. I just want to get back some energy and I want to live the last few years of my life as pain-free as possible. *moping, not my usual self* Mom is not working right now because of COVID-19.  Our goal is to get this done ASAP and to hopefully raise the total $1200.  Are you able to help us out?  Hopefully the next call to the vet will be to schedule an emergency dental appointment & not because I have pus oozing from my eyes like tears.
