Dental Leadership Team To Africa

Help send the Great Shape! 1000 Smiles Leadership Team to Africa on a leadership training and professional development trip.   Salli-Jo, Shantelle, Oshane, Roshane, Papa Joe and (hopefully) Reyon will be travelling to Uganda for 2-3 weeks in January of 2018. The purpose of the trip is for this already amazing team to learn, grow and develop professionally through visiting refugee camps, orphanages, Uganda dental school and other volunteer nonprofit organizations.


With your support, our team will learn new ideas about how to solve problems, improve the 1000 Smiles Project and how to grow Great Shape! into the future.  Through their travels they will gain a global perspective of the work they do daily in Jamaica while exploring the cultural and natural wonders of Africa.  We are building leaders who are the future of Great Shape! 


These dedicated folks work tirelessly running the world’s largest international humanitarian volunteer dental project.  Every year, more work is added with an ever-growing project.  Now we want to reward our leadership team with a life changing experience of their own.
