Dental Doozy's

We have been hit very hard this year with medical for the dogs. From amputations, to stomach issues, to foot surgeries and it goes on and on... We at minimum have to get all dogs the minimum vetting of vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter. Many of the dogs coming in have needed much more. We have had many from the shelter that ended up with kennel cough and pnuemonia. We also have so many dogs that have had little to no veterinary care as dictated on their recent health.  So many of them need dental care. These 4 dogs are at the top of the list for needing dental care. We can only imagine how much their mouths hurt. 

Tulip just came in, her nails are very outgrown and her teeth are horrendous. It looks like she had very minimal care in the past. 

Charity has had many other health issues as she was one of our research girls. She recently had some other issues and when seeing the vet for those issues, pus came out of her mouth and teeth. We already know how neglected these girls were. 

Murdock has had kennel cough and we recently found out he has an enlarged heart as well as needing a dental badly. 

Dakota also just came in and has been used for breeding, we know of at least two litters based on records.  Her nails are so long that one of them is curling back around and going into her pad. On top of her minimal care she needs, she desperately needs a dental as well. 

We do have other dogs that still need and are getting medical such as Heather who is coughing and needs to have a lump evaluated, we haven't found out just how bad her teeth are yet. 

I know dentals are expensive and people do tend to put them last in care, but dental and gum disease can cause so many more problems in the pets health. These guys are at the top of the list as they need it so much more than the rest. We too would like to be able to help them, get their mouth healthy and keep them out of pain.
