Dennis & Staphanie House Fire

Donation protected

On the morning of January 28, 2018 a neighbor of Dennis and Stephanie Godbolt banged on the windows trying to get them to wake up. The house was on fire and, Dennis, Stephanie, Anisha, and 3 dogs were trapped inside. The quick thinking neighbor may have saved their lives, but their house and many years of memories may be lost forever. The family has lost almost everything, and we are hoping to come together as a community to provide them with piece of mind. Dennis and Stephanie are very active in the church, their community, and lives of people they do not know. The estimated costs of their house, cars, and other possessions is over $200,000. However, assistance with immediate financial need is important now and will help them throughout the year as they look to rebuild and find another place to live, cars to drive, and stability in their lives. The irony of this matter is that Dennis is a Vietnam Veteran, working for the Phoenix VA Medical Center he was helping homeless Veterans with housing over the last week at the Stand Down, and this week Dennis and his family find themselves homeless. Lets see what we can do as a community to get Dennis and Stephanie back on their feet.
