Dennis Smith- A trip for healing

As most of you know my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to his liver in May of 2018.  He has been through a battle the last 2 years enduring numerous surgeries, multiple hospital stays, chemo treatments, and other illnesses due to his weakened immune system.  Last week we got the news that his cancer has spread to lymph nodes under his arms, stomach fat, and tail bone.  His Drs have seemed to lose hope in his chance of survival and we want another opinion.  Today he was called by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and they want to hep my dad!!!!! They want him to be in Chicago Illinois (this is the location that will accept what insurance he has) this Sunday to do a series of tests and evaluations over 3-4 days and will then determine if they can treat his cancer.  My dad is unable to work at this time and his wife is staying home to help care for him, so money is tight.  I know they will need help getting to Chicago and the stay there and with him leaving Saturday this is the only way I could think of to ask for help.  My dad has always been a hard worker, so this is so hard for him.  They told us 2 years ago that my dad had about 2 years left with us, but we do not accept that.  We need him to get to Chicago so that these Drs. can help make him well!!! Please pray that he is accepted for treatment!  I will keep updated as I receive them on this page.  Thank you all!!!!!
