Dennis' Medical & Rehabilitation Bills

In June of this year 2014 I, Dennis McNabb suffered a severe stroke and as a result the following issues have affected my quality of life dramatically. Since I am unable to write this myself, my daughter Callan McNabb and my son Keenan McNabb are writing it for me in my place.
Lack of use in right arm and leg
Lack of physical therapy (leg, back, arm)
Back Pains
Lack of Speech Therapy
Showing signs of decrease in humor registration
Unable to participate in previous career work
Unable to remember tasks that were once everyday simple
Lack of social interaction
Difficulty in basic speech patterns (ex. conjunctions, etc.)
Lack of outside mobility (not getting outside as much as should)
Decline in creative urges
Originally right handed, resulting in poor handwriting skills
Condition results in reading and comprehending words
Poor Syntax

Ever since I left the RIO center and moved into the Adult Foster Home that I'm currently residing, there has been a sudden decline of opportunities for my physical and speech therapy.
Due to lack of regular therapy, my condition has not improved and has even begun to decline.
My living situation has has not played out as we had planned. The people running the care home are nice and caring however it is not the environment that I need to be in in order to recover. They have three children, the oldest only still in grade school and the youngest still an infant, along with two dogs which always bark whenever someone enters the house and it takes them quite a while to calm down. Stroke survivors need a calm quiet environment to recover in. This home does not meet those needs.
Along with the noise, we expected that they would keep up with my needed therapy but that soon proved to be a misunderstanding on our part. I am confined to my room most of the day with the exception of daily meals. I have almost no interaction with the other residents and the caretakers speak only basic english.
Everyone who has met me knows that I am a caring and loving person who is passionate about life. Ever since my stroke many of the things I once loved to do have been taken away from me. Without the use of my right arm I am no longer able to play the guitar or to write both of which I enjoyed so much.
Because of the stroke, I have lost complete use of my right arm and leg. As a result this has made my day to day life exceedingly difficult. Being right handed, it is challenging for me to get by with only the use of my left hand. Things such as writing, using the computer, even just picking something up is made much more difficult.
The unfortunate reality is that the best route to a desired recovery requires proper funding. My family can only do so much to help me, so I implore you to please do what you can to contribute. Every bit helps more than you could possibly realise.
