As some of you know a few months back, my father started feeling ill as though he had come down with a cold he was unable to kick. After quite a bit of time in the hospital and numerous costly tests, he has formally been diagnosed with T-cell Large Granular Leukemia. This has been a very trying time on not only my incredibly strong father but our family as well. My mother suffers from chronic illness, and for the last few years, my father has been her primary caregiver/financial provider. With my father fighting his current battle, out of work and unable to be my mother’s primary caregiver things have been increasingly challenging. I have been doing as much as I can while still juggling my family three jobs and full-time schooling. I know my father would NEVER ask anyone for help; he is much too proud. This is why I have taken the time to put this together. He is an amazing giving man that would do anything for his family and friends. He is a workaholic that drives hundreds of miles a day and works 15 plus hour shifts to support his family. If you know him, you know he is a good person and if anyone can make it through this struggle he can. I have set up this GoFundMe with a $1 donation request because honestly, no cap would make his suffering go away. I know the holiday season is hard on everyone and anything that you can donate would help my family immensely. The bills will continue to stack up, and the scars from going through this will never leave but only fade.
