On behalf of the Spivey family, we announce the passing of Mrs. Dr. Thaddene Dena Allen Spivey aka Dena Spivey.
Dena Spivey, was called home to glory of June 7th 2018 and this has come as a sudden shock to her husband Dr. Claude Spivey, children, siblings, family, precious loved ones and close friends.
It is the families desire that Dena would not be alone in death and that she would be buried at a cemetery where most of her relatives are buried now.
We the Spivey family, are making a urgent request for immediate financial assistance to cover the funeral arrangements, church, burial, repast, for the home going celebration for Mrs. Dr. Thaddene Dena Allen Spivey.
Please join in and show Dena and this family the love they need so she can be laid to rest in a style befitting to the Queen she is.
Burial Services Not Yet Completed:
As a result of complications regards ongoing dispute with Insurance Company vs. cause of Death and not yet reaching the GoFundMe goal, the Burial Services and other Expenses for Mrs. Dr. Thaddene Dena Allen Spivey have not been completed.
We are asking that donations continue to be provided to assist with raising the amount of $25,173 as mentioned in the GoFundMe Campaign.
Biography:
Dr. Dena has dedicated her life to helping others, both on and off stage, as a 4 Time APOLLO Theater Winning Songstress (out of NYC), as well as in her personal life. Moreover, she has worked to support organizations that work globally to have positive impacts on others' lives. Through music, speaking and song, she has gone to rehabilitation centers, senior buildings, veterans’ hospitals and facilities to assist in uplifting the spirits of those with mind, body, or brain injuries. She has generated public announcements to assist with getting nutritional packages to countries all around the world.
For the past several months, Dr. Dena has been suffering regards Breast Disease. She is a strong woman; however, this ailment has caused her great suffering as follows:
A. Severe Breast Tissue Pains
B. Firmness of Breast Tissue
C. Fluid Discharge
D. Severe Weight Loss
E. Inability to eat [restricted food intake]
F. Loss of Strength [lack of mobility]
G. Breathing Complications
H. Various Tests and much more
Yet, with the aforementioned, she continued to be a truly dedicated Wife, Mother, Songstress, Grand-Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, Community Activist, and more. She made and kept her commitments to the “Blessed Highly Favored Family” works throughout her ordeal. Moreover, she worked continuously on behalf of others during her fight to live. In fact, she put others before herself til the end.
Additionally, she never complained. And, this may be why this information comes as a surprise to many of you in receipt of this GoFundMe Page. But, she pushed herself to maintain her commitments.
