Dena Runs for Transition House

Hello! My name is Dena McDonald and as a member of the Board of Directors for Victoria Women's Transition House  (VWTH), I am honored to run as a Charity Champion in the Saturday, June 2, 2018 Victoria Goddess Run.

All funds that I raise as a Charity Champion through this Go Fund Me campaign, will be directed to Victoria Women’s Transition House, a non-profit organization that for over 40 years has provided emergency shelter, counselling, supports and services for women of all ages, with and without children, fleeing domestic abuse. The organization helps more than 2,000 women and 150+ children and youth each year through the Crisis Line, Shelter, Counselling and Support Programs.

By profession, I am a Registered Massage Therapist with a focus on rehabilitation, and when not running, I enjoy paddle boarding and cooking for family and friends. I am eager to lend my voice in support of Victoria Women’s Transition House and run proudly in the Victoria Goddess Run as the VWTH Charity Champion.
