DENA NEED TO HAVE A TUMOR REMOVED

My name is Marie, I have a pug and her name is Dena. She is my baby. About a month ago I noticed a lump on the left side in the the middle of her body. In the past she has had cysts that would appear. I had the vet check them out and she states that this is common and normally they do go away after a few days. Shortly thereafter she start to cough. She has allergies and I was under the assumption that she was just having an allergy attack due to the weather, which where I live is normal. But it started to get worse. She started have more difficulty with her breathing and she would get a lot of the reverse sneeze attacks. I also noticed that the lump has not gone away but it had gotten bigger.  So we went to the vet who order an ultrasound, labs and finally a biopsy. Yesterday, 8/6/20, we received the diagnosis that she has a cancerous tumor and she needs to have it removed. Surgery is scheduled for 8/13/20.  I am asking for whatever help that anyone would be able to give.. Please.. Thanks Marie and Dena.
