Dena was diagnosed June 2018 with Stage 4 Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. All money collected will go to Dena and her children to help in their living expenses as well as any medical bills. Dena is now in the depths of her chemo.

Hello Friends,
Right after school got out in June my back and right side began to hurt. I thought it was because I had moved some heavy cement pavers in our yard to get ready for a gazebo we were building for my daughter's high school graduation party. It made sense that my back was hurting. A couple weeks went by and my pain intensified. I went to urgent care twice and my regular doctor. After running some blood tests, ultrasound and CAT scans, they suspected something was wrong with my pancreas and liver. They referred me to Virginia Mason in Seattle where I underwent more blood tests, ultrasounds, CAT scans and biopsy. I am diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. It is stage 4 because it has moved to my liver. I really have no words as I am in total shock. Please pray for my kids and for me to have the strength and courage to handle this situation.
