Deme's Journey

Demetria is in a fight for her life against Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a form of cancer that has attacked her lymph system. She underwent tonsillectomy surgery on Nov. 22, during which time a biopsy was performed. Soon after, cancer cells were discovered. Medical bills have steadily begun to pile up, and they continue to roll in. She officially began her treatment plan on Jan. 29, 2018 at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Because of the aggressive, yet highly effective radiation/chemo treatment she will receive, Deme will be unable to return to work for an undisclosed amount of time. There is not a more giving, selfless person than her. She asks for nothing, and gives everything.
She is a wonderful, loving mother of five including blended family members with her boyfriend of two years. Deme has never used any form of tobacco, she exercises, eats healthy, always makes the right choice, and is kind to everyone. In fact, she was not initially aware of this campaign on her behalf because she would never, and has never asked for help from anyone.
However, it's during this time that she will need every bit of help, prayer, and positive vibes that are possible. She is a living, breathing angel, and she still has so much more to do in this life. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
