Delta Dairy barn

Donation protected
Delta Dairy lost their barn to a fire recently.  The ladies all made it out but their babies did not.  The only babies that made it were the six we had taken to the dairy show in Rosthern and we had put in the outdoor pen so they could run and play after we got them back home.

Joseph Mosher and Kristin Shantz have put their lives into this dairy barn.  It has only been up and going for nine months and it is gone.  Joseph has always dreamed of owning a dairy and his dream was a reality for less then a year.

The calves in the barn didnt make it, nothing inside the barn did.  They have to start from scratch again and they can use all support anyone can help with.

We love these cows and to us they arent a number.  From Brenda to Betty, Mamma Snazy to Nanny McPhee we want them home again where they belong.

Yesterday, July 24, 2019, we moved all the ladies to another dairy barn to be looked after until the Dairy can get back on its feet, as dairy cows have to be milked a couple times a day or they can get mastitis.

The kids had just moved all their show gear and showing equipment back into the barn only hours before the barn went up in flames.  We need to replace all of the showing equipment and numerous other items that are critical to a dairy barn.
