Delphine's Leg Surgery

This is my young sister Delphine Umutoni. She is a cheerful, very brilliant, and kind girl. Delphine was involved in a motorcycle hit and run accident when she was 7 years old and has had four (4) leg surgery since then. She was scheduled to have her final surgery at the age of 18 but on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at the age of 17, she was taken to the emergency room due to unbearable pain from the leg. The attending physician recommended an urgent surgery which will cost about $5000.

Delphine is a senior in A-level (high school) in Uganda currently pursuing a Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Informatics major with a dream of becoming a Software Engineer.

After spending 5 years apart, I was able to meet my sister at the beginning of this year (2020). She was so full of joy and hopefully looking forward to finishing high school. Due to COVID-19, her education has been disrupted and this surgery is adding a toll of anxiety and stress on her.

As her elder sister, I am turning to you all for assistance in financing her surgery. My arms are tied after being laid off from work due to COVID-19. Other members of the family are trying their best to contribute as much as they can, and I am kindly requesting you to donate any amount that you can.
