It has been my honor that God has BLESSED my GORGEOUS mother and I with this time together! The good part is the BLESSING from GOD letting me be able to be there and take care of my mother! The sad part is that there is still NO CURE for DEMENTIA! It’s a HORRIBLE & NASTY diease!
My mother’s journey is nearing it’s end . I have some mixed emotions sadness, joy, peace, loneliness, blessed, admiration, pride and more! I got laid off of my job on December 05th, 2018. I was sad, hurt and devasted. Then God showed me a BLESSING! I was to use this TIME for my mother! See we only get one mother!
My mother DELOIS is TRUE, FAITHFUL to GOD, LOYAL, BEAUTIFUL INSIDE & OUTSIDE, MY BEST FRIEND, MY ROLE MODEL and THE DEFINITION of a STRONG WOMAN! I’m so PROUD of HER for the LOVE, DUTY, HONOR, CARE and JOY, she has SHOWN EVERYONE SHE KNEW!
Delois is a loving mother, best friend, and was a care giver to many kids. My mother worked taking care of kids in the United States Air Force. She helped raised many kids so military families could serve their country! She was the Daycare Director on George Air Force Base in California for 32 years! My mother was 72 years old and I was 43 when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Dementia eight years ago.
ANOTHER OBSTACLE has just hit my mother and I! I just received a call that her Medicaid is going to be terminated! I stunned and truly can’t believe it!
I am her primary and only caregiver. This horrible disease has rocked our family to its core! Honestly I am doing everything in my power to care for my mother. However she is in desperate need of housing and care with very limited funds to survive on. I’m youngest child, so I was asking myself, “What do I do? What CAN I do?” After many prayers and with the support of my beautiful daughter and friends.

I’m humbling asking for your help with the enormous expenses of Alzheimer’s Dementia Care for my Mother. She is in need of 24hr Memory care and is approaching the END of her JOURNEY! I am trying to raise $4000 for her room/board and care.
Until there is a cure, kids of early onset Alzheimer’s Dementia patients, like myself, will be faced with responsibilities that no adolescents should ever have to deal with. I love my mother so much and I wish I had the funds to help her on my own, but I don’t! I just don’t have that kind of money. YOU are my HOPE. Please help me get her the care she needs! NO amount is too small and all will be appreciated more than I could ever express!
