Delivering Aid to Turkish Border
Thanks to your generous donations, we have purchased five container homes for five families that lost their homes during the earthquake.
But the situation here in Turkey has gone from bad to worse. Refugee camps that I work very closely with are being shut down. Families are being kicked out of their tents and no alternative housing is being provided. These families have nowhere to go.
One camp with 84 families was told they must leave by Friday, July 28. All of these families will be homeless on the street and we are focusing on helping two of these families get into container homes. I’ve located land to rent and a safe place to put the containers. In order to purchase these two container homes and rent the land I need to fundraise an additional $7600 USD by Friday, July 28.
