Save Deliverance Temple Outreach House

Elder Ron Hurt is leading a fundraising drive to save Deliverance Temple Outreach House and Ministries. For decades the Hill has been cut out of opportunities and has been one of New Haven’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. Since 2010 the Deliverance Temple Outreach House has served those most in need, while leading in the fight for greater justice in our city. It has provided housing, support services and spiritual counseling to individuals in the Hill North community who are facing challenges of housing insecurity, addiction, re-entry and homelessness. 

But all of these services are now at risk. Both the outreach house and the church structures have faced critical damages in recent bad weather and require urgent repairs. These repairs need to be complete before winter makes the damage worse and places tenants in peril. 

$10,000 will allow the church to make all the necessary repairs and allow this vital community institution to continue providing its life-saving services.
