Delilah Morey

Delilah is a 7 year old girl who was diagnosed with epilepsy over the summer, however that is not what defines her. Her spirit ignites the best in anyone she comes into contact with. My daughter was one of the lucky ones touched by this truely magnificent little girl. My daughter had a lot of problems at school with bullies, and Delilah was always there giving her the strength and confidence to get through it. She assisted us in teaching my daughter that it is perfectly ok to be yourself, and that friends who are really friends will love you for who you are. My daughter has done a complete 360 having Delilah in her life...and I am beyond grateful. I firmly believe that Delilah and her family came into our lives at an integral time for specific reasons. Right now Delilah and her family need help. Delilah's prognosis right now isn't ideal. Her epilepsy can not be controlled, and she is currently intubated, and in a medically induced coma because she is having seizures through medications and combinations of medications that are used to control them so that the medical specialists can get accurate readings on necessary tests. I want to give back to this little girl...to my daughter's best friend. Although what Delilah has done for my daughter and for my family can never be measured monetarily, I want to raise money for her, and for her family. My ultimate goal is to raise enough to get Delilah a service dog. This is no where near the cost, but it is a start. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and God Bless.
