Give a hope to a Stage 4 Cancer Mom

First, we would like to thank you for opening the link and reading the story about our cousin Delia. We are all heartbroken to see her and her family suffer and go through this delicate phase in her life.
Delia Ramos is 45 years old and lives with her husband Victor and her two sons, Max 17 and Christopher 13 years old in Fresno. She has been a very happy person who enjoyed taking care of her family and working out. In February 2017 Delia was taken to the Emergency Room with a severe headache.
Sadly on February 27, 2017 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer that had spread to her brain. The doctors at Fresno predicted that she had only 9 months to live since the cancer had spread to her brain. Delia didn’t want to give up and sought a second opinion in Los Angeles where she received radiation and chemotherapy. She was staying with us when all of this happened. She improved from February until October while going back and forth between Fresno and Los Angeles. During the last week of October she experienced chest/ heart pain, and they took her to the ER again in Fresno. They removed fluid from around her heart and told her she might need surgery if it happens again. Delia moved back to Los Angeles to follow up with her doctors. On November 6, the doctors told her that the cancer has spread throughout the abdomen and left side of the lung which is causing the water to fill around her heart. After doing more evaluation, they told her she has 2 months to live. Doctors are telling her that there isn’t much they can do for her. The cancer is spreading very fast, and it will be better for her to enjoy the rest of her life with her loved ones.
This news has broken everyone’s hearts again. We still hold hope that she will fight this again. We are trying alternative medicine and hope this either gives her more months to live or provides a cure. We are leaving this in God’s hands and hope for the best. I know she is a strong woman, but we would like for her to enjoy life to the fullest with her family. We want her two children to move to Los Angeles to be with her. We want to give her a comfortable life and again not lose hope by trying alternative medicine.
Victor and the children are emotionally devastated by all of this. They need help financially and emotionally. We decided to open this gofundme account for her in order to see if anyone can help us with the expenses of her treatment and for us to move her family close to her. Please, we are asking you to donate any amount of money your heart desires for our cousin and her family to have a chance to fight cancer again with alternative medicine or at least not to worry about the bills they will incur in the future.
We are also asking you to please keep her in your prayers as she needs all the prayers she can get.

Delia Ramos tiene 45 años y vive con su esposo Víctor y sus dos hijos, Max 17 y Christopher 13 años en Fresno. Ella es una persona muy feliz que disfruta cuidando de su familia. En febrero de 2017, Delia fue llevada a la sala de emergencias con un fuerte dolor de cabeza.
Lamentablemente, el 27 de febrero de 2017, le diagnosticaron con cáncer del pulmón en etapa 4. Penosamente el cáncer se ha hecho metástasis a su cerebro. Los doctores en Fresno predijeron que solo tenía 9 meses de vida ya que el cáncer se había extendido a su cerebro. Delia no quería rendirse y buscó una segunda opinión en Los Ángeles, donde recibió radiación y quimioterapia. Ella se quedó con nosotros cuando todo esto sucedió. Ella mostro mejoría durante el mes de febrero hasta octubre mientras iba y venía entre Fresno y Los Ángeles.
Durante la última semana de octubre experimentó un dolor en el pecho/corazón, y la llevaron nuevamente a la sala de emergencias en Fresno. Le sacaron líquido del corazón y le dijeron que podría necesitar cirugía si vuelve a ocurrir. Delia regresó a Los Ángeles para seguir con sus doctores. El 6 de noviembre, los doctores le dijeron que el cáncer se había esparcido por todo el abdomen y el lado izquierdo del pulmón lo que está causando que el agua se llene alrededor de su corazón. Después de hacer más evaluaciones, le dijeron que tenía 2 meses de vida. Los médicos le dicen que no hay mucho que puedan hacer por ella. El cáncer se está propagando rápidamente y será mejor para ella que disfrute del resto de su vida con sus seres queridos.
Esta noticia ha roto los corazones de todos nuevamente. Aún tenemos esperanzas de que ella siga luchando contra el cáncer nuevamente. Estamos probando la medicina alternativa y esperamos que esto le proporcione más meses de vida y tal ves una cura. Por ahora dejamos esto en las manos de Dios y esperamos lo mejor. Sé que Delia es una mujer fuerte, pero nos gustaría que disfrute de la vida a lo máximo con su familia. Queremos que sus dos hijos se muden a Los Ángeles para estar con ella. Queremos darle una vida cómoda y ofrecerle esperanzas de cura con la medicina alternativa.
Víctor y los niños están emocionalmente devastados por todo esto. Necesitan ayuda financiera, emocional y espirutual. Decidimos abrir esta cuenta de gofundme para ver si alguien puede ayudarnos con los gastos de su tratamiento y para poder mover a su familia de Fresno cerca a ella. Por favor, le pedimos que se toquen el corazón y donen con una cantidad que sea conveniente para ustedes; para que nuestra prima y su familia tengan la oportunidad de combatir nuevamente el cáncer con medicamentos alternativos o al menos que no se preocupen por las facturas que se incurrirán en el futuro.
