Delene Fights Cancer! Healing Fund.

My sister-in law, Delene Janke, a beloved member of our family, the community, and her church family, has been diagnosed with step 3 invasive breast cancer. She is into her 2nd week of treatment, and so far, responding to Chemo fairly well.
Most of you know the kind of person Delene is; she’s loving and giving, the first to flash you a smile when you’re feeling down, or lend an ear when you need to talk, she will do whatever it takes to make the day brighter for you. She will never ask for anything in return, so I think we should help her now, to show her how much we appreciate her kindness and warm heart.
I’m sure you all have stories of dealing with Insurance companies! Well, here’s ours. Delene’s insurance—who willingly took her monthly payments—dropped her as soon as she filed a couple of claims. The costs for treatment are growing and her new insurance will only cover bare minimum expenses. Her out of pocket charges are adding up so quickly—not to mention the daily cost of living and surprise expenses that pop up with such treatment! Her financial burden is starting to be a drain on the energy she needs to fight cancer with a smile.
And we also just discovered that her furnace in the house went out! Adding to her stress and ours. No problem in this heat but soon Fall will be here.
We are asking for help to cover the out of pocket costs and to help fix the furnace before winter comes so she can be comfortable and do what she does best, which of course is staying positive with a bright smile on her face. Family, friends and those who know and love Delene, please do whatever you can to help take some of the financial stress off her shoulders so she can focus on healing and staying strong while she fights her cancer. Well wishes, statements of support are also very welcome! Together we can fight this!
