Delaney Family - Emergency Fund
Jason, Rhys, their three kids and their puppy were enjoying a quiet night in their beautiful colonial house in Norwell, MA.
Their life completely changed around 12:30 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2020. An officer who was patrolling the neighborhood at the time noticed smoke coming from the roof of their home. Recognizing that something was off, the officer quickly alerted the family by knocking on their door to wake them up and rescued all of them safely before the fire completely engulfed the back of their home. The cause of the fire remains unknown. However, it is believed to have started in the attic space over the garage and breezeway and spreading into the attic space over the main home, directly over the bedroom where the young kids were sleeping.
The family is safe and staying in temporary accommodation and are in good spirits. They are also extremely grateful for the immediate support they received from their neighbors and community in taking care of their essentials. However, their journey to rebuilding their beautiful home is going to be a long one.
It is a true miracle that the officer was at the right place at the right time and acted quickly to rescue the family. The whole experience the family has been been through is nothing short of completely horrific and traumatizing. They need your prayers!
