Delanee's Fund

This is not easy to ask for help but my family does need your help. We are a one income family that is not rich but have made the decision to have mom stay home to be there for our kids.  Our daughter Delanee who is 13 years old has gone through more in 1 month then most people go through in a lifetime. Her medical journey first started about 4 months ago when we took her in because her left eye lid had been puffy for months but seemed to be getting larger. Took her to the dr where he then refered her to a optomologist that she had seen a month later. That dr then scheduled her for a MRI for December 20th. She was lucky enough to get in 2 month earlier due to a cancellation, which now we think just how lucky we were to have that happen. The results were sent back to the optomologist. One week after that she was in the office of a neurologist going over the results of the MRI. It was discovered that the puffy eye was the result of a miss comunication between the artery and vein that had caused a cavernous buldge behind and above the eye with blood flowing the wrong way. That was not the worst she also had the same thing in the brain which was the one that had the neurologist rushing. That was a friday, that tuesday she was having an angiogram to take more detailed pictures. That day we ment with the neurologist again and found out it was even worse then just a few days ago. It was larger then they thought and the risk for a stroke was there. It needed to be addressed immedietly So they put her on apsrin and a blood thinner to get her readly for the following tuesday she went in for brain surgery. She went back in for an angiogram 2 days later to see if it worked but unfortunetly it did not work enough. Rod and I were pulled aside to find out that her only option is to plug off one of the carated arteries. So now she has to go for another angiogram where they will do a balloon test on the artery then she goes 3 days later for another test. 2 weeks later she goes for another brain surgery again. We are very lucky that her eye went puffy or we would not have known about the one in the brain that could have resulted in a very different outcome. All these appointment take place in Edmonton, that is 2 hrs from us. Because this all happened so fast we had no time to save anymoney. The money for gas alone has been outrageous then you have parking, medicine, food and of course loss of wages for the time taken off. This has added to our already stressed out minds and is taking it's toll. I am asking if you can help out in anyway you can that would be great. Please know that we would not ask if we truly truly did not need the help. Please know that any donation will  be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank You for taking the time to read this. It is hard to put all of this into words as we are still trying to wrap our heads around this. If you perfer not to do it this way please message me for a different way.
