In the wake of Hurricane Ian, devastation has hit SWFL to the core. The aftermath has displaced so many families, death tolls are rising, and small businesses are suffering. Del Prado Plaza, one of the oldest plazas residing in Cape Coral, has succumbed to the wreckage. The roof covering over 20 businesses sustained major damages, leaving small-family businesses to cover the cost. A plaza where families have come to do their laundry, therapy, pet grooming, and the list goes on and on. It’s been a place locals can come for their every day things.
One of the oldest bars in the area, Clubhouse has been a part of Del Prado for well over 30+ years. A true necessity, a laundromat where locals come to sit, wash their garments, and interact with others has insulations and gaping holes coming off from the ceiling. Tacos San Miguel II started in a trailer only to expand and move to Del Prado Mall Plaza in 2017. An affordable, authentic Mexican restaurant known to be "The Best Tacos in Southwest Florida." Our local businesses are trying so tirelessly to stay afloat, especially with it being their sole income. Please help donate to restore Del Prado and help save our local businesses before they are forced to close their doors.
