<div>In the 10 years I’ve been at DCHS, I’ve fallen in love with our students. I’ve helped some over come huge obstacles. I’ve laughed with others. I’ve watched as they’ve grown into young adults. I performed marriages for some. I’ve been to their children’s birthday parties, years after they’ve graduate. Some have come to my children’s birthdays and graduations. In short, they have become my family.

<div>As my way of giving back to the school, each year I raise money to purchase letter jackets for the girls and boys basketball teams.

<div>I know to some this seems crazy, but to my kids this means the world. You see being a Title I school, our kids don’t always have the availability to purchase a luxury item, like a letter jacket. As such my goal is to give them one moment to feel rich. To feel like a normal Highschool athlete.
