Help Me Fund My Education — Because You Can’t Spell Ed(U)cation Without You!
Hi, my name is DeJa
I’m proud to say that I’m a first-generation college graduate, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a passionate advocate for marginalized communities. I’ve just reached an incredible milestone — graduating from community college — and now, I’m taking the next big step: I’ve been accepted into my dream school, Sacramento State University, where I’ll be studying Exercise Science: Clinical Rehabilitation. My ultimate goal? To become a licensed physical therapist, helping others heal and move forward — just like I’ve worked to do in my own life.
But I can’t do it alone.
I’m raising $4,500 to help cover my education and housing expenses. It’s a big goal, but I truly believe in the power of community — and I believe in you.
Why Me?
I’ve dedicated my life to serving and uplifting others:
* I served in the U.S. Navy, building discipline, strength, and leadership.
* ️ I actively advocate for marginalized communities, working toward a more just and equitable world.
* I love watching basketball, sharing laughs, and finding joy in the everyday.
* As a College Corps volunteer, I help distribute food to those in need — because kindness is something we should all pass forward.
This isn’t just about school — it’s about continuing a life of service and making an impact wherever I go.
If you can contribute, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you can’t donate right now, sharing this page with friends and family means the world.
Let’s make this dream a reality — together.
With love and gratitude, DeJa
