<div>Ramzi Maqdisi’s documentary Defying My Disability features four individuals from Gaza: Abed Alrahman Abu Rawa, Anas Abu Haloub, Muna Zayad, and Zyad Deeb. Ramzi has recently reached both Abed and Zyad; they are both displaced from their homes, and are living in tents in Rafah with their children and their parents. Unfortunately, he has not been able to reach Muna or Anas, so we do not know their fate. We are all hoping that this is due to connectivity issues and that in time Ramzi will connect with them also.

<div>While the banks in Rafah do not open, the ATMs have been able to dispense cash and Zyad told Ramzi that he was able to withdraw cash after waiting in line for the ATM for 5 days. Ramzi is able to send money that they can withdraw from the ATM, and we would like to invite you to contribute if you would like to do so. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to Abed, Zyad, and their families.
