The Vandiver and Cook Families fundraising for the Defreese family fire
Today, January 8, 2021 The Defreese's family home was consumed by a devastating fire. The family members, including animals, that were present were all able to evacuate safely with minor injuries. Unfortunately, they lost all of their personal belongings and cherished memories. They got out with only the clothes that they were wearing.
We are raising funds to help Scott, Jamie and their children get started rebuilding and offset some of the expenses they are going to incur. Scott and Jamie both serve in the medical field and put their lives in harms way during the height of Covid.
Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and we hope to alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to rebuild.
