<div>Comme vous le savez, des irrégularités admises par Élections Canada ont entaché l'élection fédérale du 28 avril 2025 dans Terrebonne. Après avoir déclaré la candidate libérale victorieuse par une voix, Élections Canada a admis avoir fait des erreurs privant au moins une électrice de son droit de vote. Devant l'incapacité d'Élection Canada de corriger ses erreurs, la députée sortante, Nathalie Sinclair Desgagné, a du se résoudre à aller devant les tribunaux pour défendre la démocratie.

<div>Devant l’injustice, il était nécessaire de réagir. Le Bloc québécois et ses militants ont à ce jour porté le poids financier de la contestation en Cour supérieure du Québec.

<div>Malgré le fardeau financier important que représente un appel à la Cour suprême, il est important d'éviter de créer un dangereux précédent pour la démocratie. Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagné porte seule l’entièreté du fardeau financier des frais de justice de l’appel à la Cour suprême.

<div>As you may know, irregularities acknowledged by Elections Canada have cast a shadow over the results of the April 28 federal election in Terrebonne. After giving the Liberal candidate a one-vote lead, Elections Canada admitted that at least one citizen was denied her right to vote. Since Elections Canada is unable to correct its own mistakes, the incumbent MP, Nathalie Sinclair Desgagné, has been forced to appeal to the courts to defend the democratic process in Terrebonne.

<div>The Bloc Québécois and its supporters have so far borne the financial burden of the challenge in the Quebec Superior Court.
