Defending the Helpless for $16

You’re 3 years old.  Your father created a “naked” game with your favorite doll, because “it’s fun to play naked.”

You’re 4 years old.  Your father transitions tickling into touching your genitalia when no one is around.  He won’t stop when you tell him it hurts.

You’re 5 years old.  You’re now spending nights at your father’s house.  He wakes you up every morning around 6am with a “game” – He pulls your panties off to give you oral sex.  You’re helpless to stop him even though you don’t want to play his game.  You try locking the door on your room at night to keep him out. The next time you visit, he’s removed your door because he insists you must play his game.

Your father told you there are monsters who hide in the shadows and can find you anywhere to eat you, like the ones in the scary movies he shows you.  He’s promised that he won’t let the monsters eat you, but only if you keep the secret about the games he plays with you.

Will anyone protect you?  Who can you ask for help?

This is not a hypothetical situation.  A real little girl lives this nightmare.  The only way she’s protected is through the courts, which have repeatedly sent her back to play her father’s games.  There is an attorney who will fight for her, but he has his own bills to pay and cannot do this pro bono.  Her mom spent her savings and has gone into debt to defend her, but her father is relentless: he persists in hiring ‘experts’ to defend his parental rights.  Soon no one will be left to defend her.

Pray.  God is able to do what we cannot, but don’t stop there (James 2:15-16).
