I'm starting a gofundme to raise funds for Tiff Fede and her son Fox .

I want to communicate that Tiff is one of the most engaged mothers I have seen, constantly working to provide Fox with love, care, community, and incredible experiences. She never gives up on him. She's the kind of person who takes him on hikes in the morning, gives attention to his every thought, and is always enriching his life.

And now her life with him is under attack.

Her adoptive parents, Foxes great grandparents, now 82 years old, don't agree with her lifestyle. Where she's exploring spirituality, they see mysticism and witchery. Where she brings adventure into his life, they see chaos. Where they see a need to medicate and suppress, she sees opportunity to eat better, exercise more, be in nature, and find the place where a 10-year-old boy gets to be a 10-year-old boy.

She's figuring it out like all of us. If someone like Tiff can have her relationship with her child severed, which is what they are attempting, all mothers have cause for fear.

I don't believe a judge will remove Fox from his home. There's no history of abuse, physical or otherwise. She's put him in some of the best programs and schools in Austin. She feeds him healthy food. She showers him with love and care. I've witnessed it for years now.

Yet, navigating the legal system can be a tricky thing, particularly when one party has incredible resources and the other does not. So this is a time when the community can support its values by ensuring that Tiff and Fox have the ability to navigate the system with an attorney, someone who has dedicated themselves to helping others receive justice in the process.
