Deezer D Memorial Fund

We are heartbroken and shocked by the unexpected passing of Dearon (Deezer D) Thompson. He was a dad, son, brother and uncle who was a positive force in so many lives. Dearon was found unresponsive in his home on the morning of January 7, 2021 at just 55 years old. He leaves behind a teenage son, Easton, his mother, two brothers, one sister, and six nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle D. Dearon joins his father, Katroy, in heaven. There is not yet an official cause of death.

Deezer D, as he was known in Hollywood, is best recognized for his role as Malik McGrath on the medical drama “ER”. He was also in “CB4”, “Romy and Michele's High School Reunion” and “The Great White Hype”. Dearon was an active member of his church and expressed his love for God through Christian rap music.

We are all devastated by the loss of Dearon and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the costs and give him the memorial he deserves. Any donation is appreciated.
