Brians hunt of a lifetime

Donation protected

You may or may not know the Norman family, but I have known Brian Norman for 16 years. Brian is currently twenty two and was diagnosed with Leukemia 2 years ago. Brian grew up in Bloomingdale where he attended Bloomingdale High school and was a proud Cardinal athlete. As this began Brian was hospital bound for some time, not having time to continue his college education and basically put his life on hold. Time moved on and Brian was able to get back on his feet and can now live a more basic/normal lifestyle, but still has some major obstacles to overcome. Brian is currently going through Chemo and was told he has roughly 6 months remaining, if all goes as planned. Although recovery is underway it is still a rigorous process and at times there can be serious concerns. Brian’s journey has been nothing but heartwarming as he has been the most positive and strong willed person I have ever seen going through such a life changing situation.

Over a half of million deer hunters pursued their passion and love for the sport of deer hunting in 2016 and Brian was one of them. Brian absolutely loves the outdoors and Is an avid wildlife hunter. Deer hunting is something that has been Brian’s passion for years.

Legends Ranch is a deer management ranch located in Bitely, Michigan. This ranch is home to hundreds of “Monster Michigan Whitetail Deer.” These deer are genetically bread specifically for trophy hunting but are still wild animals. I have the privilege of knowing a hunting Guide at Legends and have been talking with him lately about getting Brian a chance to come up and do a deer hunt. He has been ever so kind to talk with his boss and get a spot for Brian to hunt.

The cost would include lodging, food, the cost of harvesting his deer and they would also video record his hunt for him to have memory of. The hunt is set to take place November 27 through December 1st. Brian is completely unaware of any of this, even the hunt itself. I am doing all that I can to raise the money to get him to be able to go. We currently need $2,500 more to get this hunt paid for Brian but we are hoping we can keep whittling that number down each day.

If the goal is reached I will be giving the news to Brian. Thank you ever so kindly for your thoughts and please continue to keep Brian and his family in your prayers. Have a great day.
