<div>This is very difficult for me to put into words, but I will try my best. I greatly appreciate those who took the time to read this message and/or share this link with others.

<div>Many of you know me, but for those who do not, my name is Natasha Rajwani and I am fundraising on behalf of my dad, Deepak Rajwani.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As it was for my family, this will likely come as a shock to a lot of those who know Deepak, but my dad has recently had a series of strokes which has led him to be hospitalized in St John’s, NL. This sudden illness has been very unnerving and difficult to witness as our dad will never be the same. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Currently, he is fairly comfortable with the help of the team in the Stroke Unit. However, due to the trauma to his brain, his cognitive function has been impaired and a lot of his memory has been lost. This has made it impossible for him to manage his financial affairs or medical plans. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My brother and I are now trying to handle his expenses and decide what is in his best interest as we contemplate what his future health journey will look like. Regretfully, neither of us is in a position to be able to cover many of the costs of what is needed at this moment. My wish was to reach out to our family and friends in hopes that any contribution would help aid us in this financial burden that we did not expect to see ourselves in.

<div>My dad has always done everything he could for us, even when we were not living in the same place. And although I can’t live near him right now or take care of him full-time, this fundraiser feels like the least I can do in the situation I am in. I never anticipated that we would have to ask for help from family and friends, in such a heart-breaking circumstance, but I am truly thankful for all the love and support we have and will receive.

<div>Every amount counts and every share makes a difference. It would mean the world to us, in ways I can’t even describe. 
</div>
