Deep Dive intoThai massage training

When I was introduced to Thai yoga massge, it was a turning point in my life.  It helped me open to a balance of action and stillness, giving and receiving that I had not experienced before.
For many years I have been teaching and working in fitness and movement arts. Much of my work involves analyzing and directing how people move and  encouraging  change the way, whether for better health or at times for performance in dance and athletics.  When I offer Thai yoga massage, it is so sweet to just meet people where they are, as they are with only the agenda of imparting loving - kindness through healing touch. I do love to move and dance, and even to work hard in the body, but I have a deepening appreciation and curiosity about the power of rest and of receiving nourishment.
I believe many people are starved for touch, not in a sexual way, but rather in a clear, kind and nurturing way. It is critical to our wholesness and humanness. We all need this to feel safe and nourished. I find Thai yoga massage to be a beautiful vehicle for soothing and rejuvinating not just the physical body tissue, but also the nervous system, and the energetic systems. It speaks to the deep need we all have to be held, safely and with compassion.
I began my practice over 5 years ago with Saul David Ray and Gigi Chiarello, and will be forever grateful for the seed they helped to plant. Since then I have studied with other teachers and cultivated my practice with joy and humility. Now I feel called to deepen my practice and skills, and pass that healing on to my community. For years I have dreamed of attending this one month intensive, the Thai Circus, so I can dive deeply and immerse myself fully in the practice.  With EVOLUTION studio now 15 years in existence, I feel able to step away for this learning sabbattical and ask for the support of the community I have served. I will return to you with open arms, ready to embrace you with new skills and a renewed and refreshed heart.
Any bit you can contribute to helping with the expenses of the travel and tuition is so appreciated. THESE ARE NOT DONATIONS. These are pre-booked sessions. Your contribution is your payment in advance for your Thai yoga massage sessions, or for someone you would like to share it with. I look forward to sharing the fruits of this venture with you. I am happy to answer any questions and to share more about my trip and my perspective so do contact me. I am deeply humbled, grateful and joyful for the gift of sharing Thai yoga massage with you.
Thank you for your support.
