2015: Compared to the x-ray above

I am sharing this information to seek financial assistance from everyone out there for my mom's, Deanna Gross, surgery. Looking at how critical our mother’s health situation is, myself(Lindsey Gross) and my only sister(Michelle Afuwajomo) have decided to come out on behalf of our mom this way to seek financial assistance on her behalf. My mom was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and degenerative joint disease since 2010. A recent X-ray of her left hip when compared with the initial one shows that her situation has gone horribly bad. Please see the X-rays. In a recent development, it has also been indicated that her right hip will now require a surgery. When I was 14 and my sister was 11, my dad was diagnosed with diabetes retinopathy. It all started one day when he was working on a client's car in his auto shop. He developed an issue with his eyes, what everyone thought might be a piece of metal or dust in his eyes. He made numerous trips to eye clinics with my mom. Suddenly, his eyes became so deteriorated that he could not perform basic functions that requires his sight. Several trips were taken outside of Alaska to see the eye doctors. Several eye surgeries were performed on my dad. My parents had to take a second mortgage to pay for all these surgeries but sadly enough my dad lost his eyes permanently and the doctors came to the conclusion that no more surgeries could be performed on my dad. In the middle of this, my grandfather(my dad's dad), who was with us all the time while my parents were going on medical trips, got ill and my mom was taking care of him before he died shortly after. My mom is faced with the sole responsibility of taking care of the family. My mom was also taking care of her own dad who was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer until his death in 2005. My mom is in daily extreme pain and agony but she keeps working to keep the family together and gets the mortgage paid at all times. My mom will not be able to work for 2, 4 or 6 months after the surgery depending on her recovery. There won't be any way or mean to pay the mortgage and living expenses. On behalf of our mom, my sister, my dad and I are soliciting for your generous financial assistance to pay for my mom's surgery, rehabilitation and sustenance during these difficult times. Thank you for all of your support and kindness God bless you all.
