The Dee and Avree Bandy Fund

Our friend Dee and her daugher Avree (15) were recently in a bad car accident. Their car was totaled and both suffered severe injuries. Avree required immediate surgery to repair her vertebrae, and Dee broke her hip. While both are expected to make full recoveries, the road will be very long and extremely expensive.
While Dee has both medical and car insurance, the out of pocket expenses and deductibles (likely 2 years' worth due to the timing) are too much for this single-income household to cover.
Lots of people have asked how to help -- food, holiday gifts, clothes, etc. In times like these, it's often difficult to say exactly what is needed. The gift of money, in this case, is the best choice as it gives Dee and her family the option to direct the fund where they need it most.
