Loon Skate Cult was born out of a deep passion for skateboarding and a commitment to social justice. Founded in Venice Beach, CA, by Skyler—a visionary with a unique story—Loon Skate Cult is a company with a mission: to create a world where Indigenous communities can thrive.
Skyler was born with six fingers, a powerful symbol of how challenges can lead to greatness and how embracing our differences makes us stronger. His six-fingered handprint emblem serves as a reminder that tradition and innovation can come together to create real change.

A History of Struggle, A Future of Hope.
Skyler’s ancestors were forcibly relocated to a reservation in northern Wisconsin. For generations, his people were stripped of their right to sell their own wood, leaving them impoverished and excluded from mainstream society. Today, we’re using that same wood to craft the highest-quality skateboards—reclaiming the natural resources of his people to restore pride, purpose, and wealth to Indigenous communities.
As a lifelong skateboarder, Skyler has found his purpose with Loon Skate Cult. Each board we create is a piece of that mission—a chance to give back and build something that matters.
