Declan's Rally Against Cancer

A few of us are getting together to support Declan and his family who include his wife Paula and two beautiful children Saskia aged 5 and Liam aged 9.
Declan, who will be 51 on 3rd November, has been a close supportive friend to many and a true inspiration. Even though he is going through an incredibly tough time at present his sense of humour shines through so that those around him can remain positive.
Recently Declan, was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma - Stage 4 and it is likely to have developed quickly. He is now facing chemotherapy every 3 weeks with positivity. His family are not sure when he will be able to return home which means a lot of hospital visiting to either Boston or Lincoln, both of which are about an hour away. While he's in hospital he has been doing some planning for the future and writing stories for Liam & Saskia.
Fighting cancer is hard at the best of times let alone when you have a family to support. Neither Declan or Paula are able to work at this present time adding even more stress to a difficult situation.
We are raising funds to support Declan and his family especially with the lead up to Christmas so that his children can have some fun and laughter during this very difficult time. It also happens to be their birthdays in December. We know that the best present they can have is their daddy home. But in the meantime any support we can give with either donations or organising fundraising events will be very much appreciated.
