Fighting Like a Girl

Hello Friends,
I’ve never done this before, but I need your help.  My sister Jeannie has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4, Metastatic Breast Cancer.  It is very aggressive and she has began the battle of, and for, her life.

She detected 1 lump in her breast, and since that time, her life has been a whirlwind. She struggled telling us of her diagnosis, knowing how frightening just the word, CANCER, can be.
She's had to leave the job that she loves, then deal with the beginning stages of chemo (hair loss, weight loss, sickness), & the most heartbreaking part, telling her 16 yr old son, Aidan, just how sick she really is.

She is determined to BEAT THIS! Summoning energy for the countless dr appointments, blood tests, scans, EKG’s and life altering, side effects of chemotherapy!
Jeannie is my beautiful little sister. I love her more than I can explain.  We are total opposites, as most know.  She is the ‘quiet’ one.  For years, she has happily  focused her time & energy, on her son & work. This, was not part of The Plan!
She just doesn't have a large support system, but I do! You are  such an amazing group of people, that I consider family.  You just know, that I have no shame in asking for help on her behalf.

The goal of this campaign, is to relieve some of the financial burden, stress and anxiety, that a cancer diagnosis causes.

Just knowing people care, will help her to win this battle!
There are many cancer related resources out there, it is a slow moving process, and we are running out of time.
*Any help you can give, is deeply, deeply appreciated. Every bit adds up. Please keep my sister Jeannie, her son Aidan and our Mom, in prayer. Lord knows, we could all use some extra grace, from the man upstairs.
