Greetings!
My name is Morgan Sumpter, daughter of Richard and Nikki Sumpter and a senior at Mansfield Lake Ridge High School. It is with great joy and honor that I present myself to you as a participant in the 2018 Scholarship Ball and Debutante Presentation sponsored by the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education in partnership with the Xi Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
In addition to all the fun and interesting professional and personal development seminars scheduled, another portion of our process involves the participants compiling a Souvenir Program Booklet. Incentive awards will be given to those participants who raise a specific amount of donations for advertisements, but scholarships will be given to those who raise even more!
I am, of course, striving to receive the TOP scholarship awards and would greatly appreciate ANY support you can give me! As the current Treasurer and Business Editor of the Lake Ridge Yearbook, a member of DECA, Key Club, and my high school African Student Organization, I know that this learning experience will enable me to better myself for future endeavors.
