As many of you know, last year my Mother was terribly ill and spent 5 months in the hospital on her road to recovery. She’s been home with us for almost a year now. Unfortunately, last Monday things took a turn for the worst and she had to be picked up by ambulance due to extremely low blood pressure among other symptoms. She was placed back into the ICU at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She had severe infection and was diagnosed as septic. She also was diagnosed with pneumonia and placed on the ventilator. Thursday, she went into cardiac arrest due to her lungs filling with fluid and putting a strain on her heart. They were able to withdraw some of the fluid, however she is still requiring a significant amount of medication for various reasons. They seem to be having problems with her kidneys as well and have placed stents to try and decrease blockage. We are not sure when she will return home or what the future holds for her. I am certain that prayers and the power of God do work.

I have set up a GoFundMe page because bills are still piled up from her hospital stay a year ago and are beginning to pile up from this stay as well. It is really a financial strain on my Father and I. We are doing everything we can to keep it together. I’m not asking anyone to donate thousands, but a few dollars here and there would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot donate, just simply saying a prayer is appreciated more than you know.
