My name is Linda Tyler and my husband Scott and I have a beautiful daughter, Christina, age 37 pictured here, who has been crippled with toxic black mold poisoning.
Christina was living in an apartment for 3 years that unknowingly had black mold growing in the ceiling and behind the walls. Early in 2018, she began to have many neurological symptoms that were unexplainable including her eyes involuntarily crossing, dizziness, constantly nauseous, lighted-headedness, when she spoke she slurred and inverted her words, brain fog, zero energy and felt her body shutting down over a period of time. In July 2018, I took her to the ER and all of the “major issues” were ruled out (stroke, heart attack, tumors, etc). She was sent home with a diagnosis of Vertigo and given strong sedatives. Over a period of time she did not get better but worse so we searched for a doctor that might have some ideas as to what was wrong. Many tests later, a very large amount of toxic black mold was found in her body. We had her apartment tested and found the same mold in the apartment. Without any acknowledgment of neglect regarding the mold or support from the apartment complex, she quickly left her apartment and moved in with my husband and I. It has been a long and tough road regarding her treatment as mainstream healthcare could not provide any answers and we spent a lot of time and finances searching for solutions. Thankfully, we eventually found a doctor that specializes in some of the best mold detox protocols we have researched which includes intravenous therapy, antifungal medications and supplements, hyperbaric chamber therapy and various other detox practices. Coming to a greater understanding of mold, it has been mind-blowing how it has affected almost every area and system in her body, which requires consistent monitoring, detoxing and rehabilitation.
My daughter owns her own photography business and has been working as much as energy/health allows, but for most of 2018 to present day, she has been incapacitated to work as much as she was able to in full health. This has significantly drained her finances as well as my mine and my husband’s, as we have eagerly jumped in financially to help her recover. We now totally support her, her car payments, car insurance, food, gas and any and all incidentals. She has to eat totally organic and has a special diet to adhere to. Most of her therapies, medicine and protocols are not covered by mainstream insurance. We have incurred over $180,000 not counting her daily support already which does not include upcoming coverage for continuing treatment. She has gotten somewhat better but has a long road to go down. It takes a long time to restore your immune system and right now, some side effects are occurring such as losing her hair. As you can see in the picture, she has beautiful hair and this is causing more stress. In addition, the stress and emotional trauma of this health crisis, her inability to work, the effects of the mold on her hormones and emotions have necessitated her to see a counselor to get extra support during this time, adding in even more costs.
We are hopeful for continued recovery and restoration back to full health or at least to an optimal level of "thriving" again. We are so thankful for the people and friends who have already been such a help and encouragement to us and would ask if you feel led to give to help relieve the financial distress, we would be incredibly grateful!
Whether or not a financial gift is possible, we would be eternally grateful for your prayers for healing physically, emotionally and financially. Thank you for your time in reading our story.
