Deborah Dawson's Angel Fund

If you knew Deb Dawson you were blessed to know a wonderful wife, mother, mentor and friend.  Unfortunately, her cancer and numerous delicate health conditions had taken a hard turn earlier today (9/30/2018) when she went into kidney failure. Now we are looking at mere hours or days left of precious time with this amazing woman. Going into the next phase of life, we are looking to raise more money to help the Dawson family manage Deb's end of life expenses.

Due to her cancer, Deb was unable to receive Life Insurance. Her husband and children have depleted their finances with treatment, travel, and health expenses. The financial burden of losing their mother is not one they can bare alone.

We ask all who read this to please donate whatever you can, or at the very least share Deb's story with your friends and loved ones.  Thank you so much to all who have loved and supported the Dawson's during this difficult year!

Previous Story:

I am a wife of 40 years, mother of 8, and a grandmother of a four-year-old grandson.  In 2014,  I had a routine appendicitis attack which required surgery.  From a routine scheduled surgery, it was found that the appendix was cancerous, which is extremely rare, and had spread to other organs requiring a total hysterectomy and a bowel resection taking 18 inches of my bowel.  Following treatment, I was deemed cancer free.   In the process, my kidneys have been scarred with scar tissue which put me into kidney failure requiring me to have drainage tubes coming through my back into drainage bags making it hard to sleep and lie comfortably.
Fast forward three and half years ... upon a routine check up, I am no longer cancer free.  It has returned with a vengeance.  I again have had to give up my full time job to restart treatment.  This treatment is requiring many hospital stays, medications, and private nursing care which is not covered by insurance.  This money will help to fund my extended care and stays at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, as well, as medications not fully covered.  I am now receiving nutrition intravenously, chemotherapy and pending major surgeries, along with the HIPEC treatments.
If you feel you need more information in my rare type of cancer, please feel free to look up Signet Ring Cell Adenocarcinoma of the Appendix.   You can help with your financial gift and your prayers for my miracle cure.  If you cannot give now, please share this with family and friends.
