Debby Kimes and Family Fund

In October of 2017, Debby Kimes suffered an injury in the form of a broken back.  She was with her dog in her backyard when another dog entered her property. She tried to separate the animals and in the midst of all the chaos…fell.  She subsequently fractured her lumbar vertebrae and needs to be in a brace for a minimum of 8 weeks. Surgical intervention is a possibility if her back does not heal. During this time, she will not be able to work and provide for her family. Debby is the sole provider for a family of 5.  She has been a registered nurse for almost 30 years and has served her patients and community with a selflessness that can only be compared to as saintly.  She always puts others first, even before her own needs and her grandchildren are her pride and joy.  With this very serious injury she is not able to work and has approximately one week’s pay of time off for supplementation.  With the impending medical bills and holiday season approaching, I’m kindly asking anyone to help this family in any way possible to cover expenses while Debby recovers from this unfortunate injury.  Monetary donations are welcomed, but so are meal preps, gift donations, and any other services people are willing to contribute.  Debby is a mother, grandmother, nurse, friend and outstanding human being. She deserves the best and I’m hoping this accident can have a positive outcome in the form of altruism by others. Thank you so much.
