Debbie's medical/loss wages help

I was crossing the street to go to work yesterday morning. It said 'walk' and I walked. Half way through the street a car comes out of no where and is ready to just hit me. I turned my left knee in, so she wouldn't hit me and I heard something crack. I couldn't finish walking across the street and people stopped to help.  The police were called and while they wrote a injury report, they let her leave without getting her ins. information because she didn't actually hit me. I spent the day at Kaiser Hospital getting xrays and CAT scans. The orthopedic surgeon just called. I do not need surgery. He said it's a serious fracture but can't warrant surgery for it. Thank God. He said I cannot put any weight on it for 2 months and then I'll start physical therapy.  I know that I'll be out of work for at least 2 months and as a waitress that means zero income. It's hard for me to ask for help, but I'm swallowing my pride and putting it out into the universe.  The money will be used for my rent and medical bills for the next 12 weeks.
