Stand By Debbie Stacy

Debbie Stacy is a 61 year old extremely kind and helpful person who is always there for others in need. She lives alone and works as a self-employed hairdresser, which is made even harder by her debilitating and painful psoriatic arthrits. She works hard and loves what she does but the many years of being on her feet and working long hours has taken its toll on her body. So when she came down with the flu and pneumonia just before the new year her body was unable to fight causing her to be admitted to the hospital and intubated. And eventually requiring chest tubes to be placed on both side due to both lungs collapsing.  Due to her status she has been unable to and will continue to be unable to return to work for the forseeable future. This has led to her being in imminent danger of losing her house, which she has worked so hard over the years to pay for.  We are hoping to raise money to cover her house payments and monthly utilities while she is incapacitated so that once she is well enough to return home she will have a home to return to.  Debbie means so much to so many people and over the years has shown charity of heart to so many and has made such an impact on the lives of family, friends, neighbors, clients and her community. She has also given her time and energy into helping the community animals by being actively involved in the spay and nuetar programs.  But now Debbie is the one in need.
