Debbie Ozee Power in Prayer

As many of you know, on August 8, 2018, our dear friend Debbie Ozee was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the lung.  Debbie and Chip made the informed decision to undergo her treatment plan under the guidance of physicians at MD Anderson in Houston, TX.  Debbie received her first radiation treatment on August 31st.  Chemotherapy treatments are scheduled to start the first week in September.  We are thankful for the extraordinary doctors at MD Anderson.  We know Debbie is in the best of hands in Houston. 

There has been a tremendous outpouring of prayer and support for Debbie and the entire family.  So many friends, family and co-workers from near and far have reached out asking to help in any and every way possible.   The thought was to establish this Go-Fund Me page to give those who so desperately want to help a convenient and direct avenue to do so.   Debbie and Chip have been reluctant to specify needs due to the uncertainty of their upcoming travel and treatment schedule.  What we do know is they will have on-going travel and lodging needs as they continue to travel from their home in Double Oak, TX to Houston, which is a 4 ½ hour drive one way.  Our hope is these blessings will help the family keep their focus and attention on their #1 priority of getting Debbie well.   Money raised will go to offset the expenses of travel, lodging, meals and any uncovered medical expenses.   

Debbie, Chip and the entire family have been overwhelmed by the support and are so grateful for the expressions of concern, encouragement and especially the prayers being lifted up on Debbie’s behalf.  Debbie is a strong determined woman who is steadfast in her Christian faith.  Debbie knows that healing will come through the intervention of expert medical care and the outpouring of prayers being lifted up for her complete healing.  Let us all continue to rally through prayer around Debbie and Chip and their entire family.
