Hello!
Many of us were fortunate enough to be influenced by Debbie Harp at some point during our time at The University of the Cumberlands (good 'ol CC for most of us).
Debbie has practically dedicated her life to Cumberland(s). For many of us she was a mentor, confidant and an on campus mother. Even after graduation, many still call her friend.
The purpose of this campaign is to sew the seeds of the Debbie M Harp Scholarship Fund at Cumberland(s). We haven't finalized the particulars of who will receive the scholarship - maybe a student involved in Campus Ministries or maybe a student from Danville (Boyle County) where Debbie is grew up. All of that can be determined later.
The real reason to give is to honor a woman who is very special and to help a very deserving student attend Cumberland(s).
We would like to be able to officially announce the establishment of the scholarship at Homecoming 2018.
