Our dear friend and colleague, Debbie Hamilton successfully found remission a year ago from her uterine cancer only to have terrible news in March of 2019 that her cancer had spread to her lungs.
She has been enrolled in a drug trial that assists with some of her expenses but doesn't cover the chemo or regular medical co-pays and deductibles with her insurance from work.
We did a fundraiser 2 years ago when she was first diagnosed and those funds have carried us to here. She doesn't have enough on hand to cover the costs of her out of pocket medical expenses and her doctor's office won't continue care without those expenses covered upfront. It's been very difficult for Debbie and she's emotionally drained.
As many of you know, she is the head of the household for 5, including her daughter and her three kiddos which are the light of her life. Dodger the dog is also a God-send comfort animal right now.
This need is urgent and will be managed by her friends at Texas Creative where she works as our Media Buying Director.
